This march is to show support for people who have lost their jobs or have had their lives affected in other ways by the activities of the DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) and the hap hazard cuts to departments and organizations such as the:

The Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which is the national public health agency of the United States.

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)

Internal Revenue Service
Department of Defense
This march is also to highlight growing concern regarding cuts outlined in the Project 2025 political initiative to reshape the federal government of the United States in order to consolidate power in the executive branch of our government in direct conflict with the rights and powers provided to us as citizens and to the branches of our government in the United States Constitution.
The staging point for the march is the Northlake Festival Shopping Center. Please park in the rear of the parking lot and avoid parking in front of the Goodwill store. Parking were Bally's Fittness or Toy R US once were, would be respectful to the tenants of the shopping center. We will march down La Vista Rd, cross the I-285 overpass, cross La Vista Rd, and return to the Northlake Festival shopping center. This is a peaceful protest. No violent or vulgar behavior will be tolerated. Be prepared for hot weather. Bring water, a snack and sunscreen.
