Children in Foster Care (DFAC’s - Department of Families and Children) in Georgia don’t usually have luggage to transport their belongings when the go into Foster Care or move from one Foster home to another. They are usually just given a trash bag or a box to transport their belongings.

It can be humiliating and dehumanizing to children when their belongings are treated like “trash”. Help us make their experience in Foster care just a little less depressing and demoralizing by donating your gently used or new luggage, duffle bags or large tote bags to our Gently Used Luggage drive on Saturday, August 29th from 10 am - 4 pm.
